TTF&OTM 2010, Bigger, Better As the economy turns the corner, the response indicates a bigger and better TTF&OTM in 2010. Early Confirmations International Canadian Tourism Commission, which has recently launched its operations in India, is participating in a big way at both Mumbai and New Delhi. Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) confirms big participation in OTM Mumbai and New Delhi. Pattaya will be promoted separately in OTM Mumbai by an independent booth side-by-side the TAT Pavilion, as confirmed by the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organisation. Kenya Tourism Board, a regular participant for the last ten years, enlarges its presence at Mumbai and New Delhi. Other NTOs who have confirmed as on date include : Bhutan, Czech Republic, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Nepal, Netherlands, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey. Besides the above NTOs, private operators from Argentina , Chile, Dubai, Peru, Russia, and Uzbekistan have booked space at OTM Mumbai/New Delhi. National Early states who have committed their large presence in 2010 are Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat , Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, etc. As reported earlier, the Ministry of Tourism has enlarged its presence at Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai. The bigger pavilion will project the North-Eastern States. J&K Tourism will also be participating in a big way at all TTF locations in Jan-Feb 2010. Besides being the Partner State in Mumbai and New Delhi, J&K Tourism will also have an enlarged presence at Chennai and Bangalore, as part of a strategy to intensify their marketing campaign in the South. |
