TTF&OTM Mumbai 2009 General Visitor Survey Report
There were over 5000 general visitors at the TTF&OTM Mumbai 2009. About 3000 visitors participated in the survey. Following are the highlights:
Average trips per person per year = 2.6 times
Average Duration of trip = 2.3 weeks
Average Budget = Rs. 19780/-
Booked at the fair or plan to book =75%
Visitors very satisfied/satisfied with the fair = 97.2%
Maximum visitors preferred to travel in Summer season (60%) followed by Winter (55.5%).
34.9% visitors like to travel out of season and 21.8% visitors during vacations.

85.6% visitors showed interest to travel within India and 32.6% visitors preferred to travel outside India.

Within India, maximum visitors preferred to travel North (90.3%). West took the second place with 54.3%% visitor’s preference. South stood on third preference with 50.6% visitors. Others are North East – 6.9%, Central – 3.1%, East – 2.7% and North West – 0.6%.

Outside India, maximum visitors of TTF&OTM Mumbai 2009 like to travel SE Asia with 51.6%, followed by Europe (33.2%). Preference for other zones are : 15.1% for USA, 9% for Australasia, 17.8% for Middle East, 9% for Africa, 15% for Rest of Asia, 6.3% for North America, 1.5% for South America and 9.4% for Far East.
