TTF&OTM Mumbai and New Delhi heralds positive industry trends
India’s biggest travel event, TTF&OTM, celebrated its 20th Anniversary showing strong growth in the number of exhibitors and visitors, clearly bucking industry trends.
There were 791 exhibitors in Mumbai and New Delhi from 38 countries and from 30 Indian states.
Among the first-time participants making a strong bid to woo the Indian outbound market were those from Bermuda, Canada, Finland, Maldives, Spain, Syria, Tanzania, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
Canada, China, Thailand, and Turkey participated in a big way as Partner Countries, along with big private sector contingents. Bhutan, Egypt, Indonesia, Kenya, Korea, Macau, Nepal, and Syria were the Feature Countries.
TTF&OTM also reinforced its lead as India’s leading travel mart. Two foreign organisers called off their shows in the same quarter.
