China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia are the main tourist attractions in the South East Asia region. Promoting a road link primarily with India’s North-Eastern states is the main focus. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, The Ambassador of Thailand in India, spoke elaborate on the Indo-China tourism opportunity on the inaugural day of the TTF&OTM, New Delhi, 2010.

According to Mr. Kraichitti, the five countries along with China will promote Buddhist tourism sites, cultural and aqua tourism. He expects that the Indo – China trade relation will have generic promotion of the destinations for tourist organizations both in India and abroad.
