Exhibitors make full use of the TTF&OTM platform with high-quality roadshows

National and International exhibitors utilized the TTF&OTM platform to make marketing  presentations to promote their destinations and products among the travel trade and media.

The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Minister, Shri Nawang Rigzin Jora addressed the travel trade and media in an interactive session at TTF&OTM Mumbai. He spoke about the new tourism projects, policies, campaigns and initiatives in the state, and also put in perspective the apprehensions about the security scenario in the state. Also present was Smt Tanveer Jehan, Tourism Secretary of the state.

China National Tourism Organisation organised a presentation in Mumbai, where Ms Alice Wang, Director of the India office, alongwith other senior officials, briefed the audience and invited them to the forthcoming 6-month long mega-event, Shanghai Expo, scheduled to begin on May 1, 2010.

World without Borders, an association of Russian tour operators, organised a travel trade meet at TTF&OTM, New Delhi attracting over 50 tour operators. They spoke about a new Russia celebrating the wealth of it’s past, and developing potential for the future. Russian tour operators spoke of the country’s myriad tourism attractions, including the largest freshwater lake, rivers, forests, wildlife, mountains, heritage, culture, and other spectacular tourism assets.

Shri Manabendra Mukherjee, Tourism Minister of West Bengal Tourism, presided over a packed interactive session with the travel trade and media in New Delhi. He highlighted some of the latest tourism initiatives and projects in the state, including Rural Tourism, Tea Tourism, Heritage Tourism, Eco Tourism and the Green Dooars, River Cruises, Pilgrim Tourism, Cultural Tourism, Forest & Wildlife Tourism, Adventure Tourism, Beach Tourism, Raj Nostalgia Packages, Luxury Trains etc.
