The TTF series is India's oldest and largest travel trade show network, which aims to provide effective marketing platforms to promote tourism in 8 major travel markets across India, including Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai & Hyderabad.

To execute an event of this magnitude, we have developed an exciting Volunteer Programme, which gives volunteers invaluable insights into everything that goes behind the making of it.

This programme is tailored for passionate and enthusiastic individuals - students and working professionals alike - who are eager to learn and contribute to the success of the event while building a strong foundation in various aspects of event operations and hospitality management.

Volunteer Roles

Volunteers will be assigned to various roles based on their skills and interests, including:

  • Registration Exhibitors: Handles exhibitor check-in, badge issuance, and resolves registration-related queries at the counter.
  • Runner Boys: Provides logistical support to the registration team by running errands, and assisting during peak rush.
  • Registration Support: Assists registration counters with queue management, crowd handling, and overflow support.
  • Registration VIP & Invitees: Manages fast-track check-in for VIPs and special invitees, ensuring a smooth and priority experience.
  • Registration Media: Handles media accreditation, distributes press badges, and coordinates with media representatives.
  • Help Desk: Acts as the central point for visitor assistance, handling queries, directions, and issue resolution.
  • Information Desk (All Halls): Provides hall-specific guidance, directions, and basic event information to visitors across the venue.
  • Interconnecting Hallway Support: Guides visitors between halls, manages movement flow, and prevents congestion in connecting areas.
  • Inaugural & Event Support: Handles on-ground coordination, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Water Distribution Counters: Manages water stations, ensures availability, and assists visitors with refreshments.
  • Stage Management: Coordinates backstage stage activities, supports speakers, and ensures smooth execution of sessions and events.

The assignment of departments will be at the sole discretion of the Volunteer Manager. The responsibilities can change according to the requirement of the event.

Key Essentials
  • Event Name: TTF
  • Work Hours: 7 AM - 6 PM (tentative & subject to change)
  • Commitment Dates: All selected volunteers are expected to:
    • Be present on all assigned days as per the duty roster shared in advance
    • Actively perform their assigned responsibilities throughout the event
    • Adhere strictly to reporting times and instructions
  • Training:
    • Virtual Training: 1–2 mandatory sessions prior to the event
    • On-ground Training: Orientation at the venue prior to event
  • Note: All training sessions are mandatory for every volunteer to ensure everyone is well-prepared.
  • Reward & Recognition: Volunteers who successfully complete their responsibilities will receive:
    • Certificate of Appreciation
    • Stipend
  • Important Note: This is a performance-based programme The stipend and certificate will only be awarded to volunteers who:
    • Attend all required training sessions
    • Are present throughout their assigned schedule
    • Actively perform and complete their assigned duties
Application Process
  1. Application Form: Complete the online application form available on our website. Volunteer Registrations will close at 15 days prior to the event. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds who can bring their unique skills and experiences to the event.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a brief virtual interview. Interview timelines will vary depending on the selected city and will be communicated directly to shortlisted candidates.
  3. Confirmation: Selected volunteers will receive confirmation via email with complete details regarding their role, training schedule, venue, and other logistics specific to their assigned city.
